 Come and see the first-ever performance about people who listen to music without hearing, speak with each other different languages, feel the world without seeing it. On the same stage, deafblind people and professional artists from different countries play together.
Seventy-five years ago, on November 28 - December 1, 1943, the leaders of the Soviet Union, the United States and Great Britain – the three great Allied powers waging a bloody battle against fascism - were meeting in the Iranian capital Tehran. The Tehran Conference (codenamed Eureka) was the first such gathering by the Soviet, US and British leaders during World War II.
“Non/Fictio№”, officially called the International Book Fair for High-Quality Fiction and Non-Fiction, which marks its 20th anniversary, kicked off in Moscow’s Central House of Artists. Five-day book marathon is held from 28 November through 2 December 2018 under the patronage of the Federal Agency for Publishing and Mass Communications. Traditionally the fair spotlights one country as a special guest, and this year Italy is the Country of Honour for the first time in the fair’s history.
THE STATE of the world and, frequently, the course of history depended on the foundation on which peace on Earth was based - either on international balance or on omnipotence of another hegemon. Today, the Atlantic circles of different levels have adopted another propagandist mantra: international relations would be disrupted catastrophically or, worse still, slide into global chaos if the United States moves away (or forced to move away) from global domination.
On November 22, 2018 the State Tretyakov Gallery in Moscow opened a comprehensive exhibition of Estonian art ‘Border Poetics. Estonian art 1918–2018’ to coincide with the centenary of the Republic of Estonia. A collaboration between KUMU Art Museum and the State Tretyakov Gallery, the show presents a cross-section of Estonian art of the last century – over 100 works that include paintings, graphic works, photography and installation.
November 19 saw the completion of the offshore section of the 1,800-kilometer Turkish Stream pipeline to supply Russian natural gas to Turkey. Mentioning the project’s geopolitical significance in a speech during the completion ceremony, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that “Projects of this kind and this project in particular, are not directed against anyone’s interests. They are exclusively constructive in nature. They are aimed at developing relations between states, creating stable conditions for economic development and improving the well-being of our citizens.

An issue that has been high on Mongolia’s foreign policy agenda is the relations between North Korea and the rest of the world, in particular, with the United States. Ulan Bator has its own view on the future of the Korean Peninsula. Naturally, it does not envisage aggravation of the situation but is seeking to enhance Mongolia’s role in resolving the North Korean crisis and strengthening its own national security.
On November 6, French President Emmanuel Macron reiterated his call for creating a "European army," "real pan-European armed forces." According to Paris, the EU needs an army to protect itself, “taking into account Russia, China and even the United States”. Speaking at the European Parliament a few days later, German Chancellor Angela Merkel generally endorsed Macron’s idea reiterating Berlin’s proposal for the creation of a European Security Council.
