The month of May and the fireworks are now behind us. The country and the world celebrated Victory Day, which is a holiday of war veterans, home front workers, and all the people of Russia and other victorious nations. There was a grand parade on Red Square and a wreath laying ceremony at the tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The march of the Immortal Regiment – a civil initiative that has acquired a truly global dimension – took place again not only in Russia, but in many other countries as well, with the participation of hundreds of thousands of Russians, our compatriots abroad and citizens of other countries – all people who cherish the memory of Victory and the memory of those who worked to bring it closer.

Some experts believe that Iran’s cooperation with Armenia could become costly for the latter owing to the ever increasing hostility demonstrated by US President Donald Trump towards the Islamic Republic of Iran. Fort Ross Dialogue – meetings in Russia is an extension of the series of US – Russia Fort Ross Dialogue conferences established in California in 2012. The event is named after the first Russian settlement established in the territory of modern-day California. The 2017 Dialogue was hosted by ancient Pskov, home to Izborsk Fortress, a sister fort of Fort Ross. In 2018, the conference was held in Veliky Novgorod.
The year 2019 will the mark the five-year anniversary of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and 25 years since the idea of ​​Eurasian integration was first pitched in 1994 by Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
