The New York-based Nova Science Publishers has published a collection of works, Macroeconomic Policies in Countries of the Global South, which was compiled by the Dialogue of Civilizations Research Institute and prominent scientists from Russia, Germany, Switzerland, Brazil, Australia, and the Philippines. Some of the authors are employees of international economic organizations, such as the Asian Development Bank, which provided support for the publication.

As two great powers, Russia and the United States are the world’s leading geopolitical players with a decisive say in global politics. Therefore, any souring of relations between the two poses new challenges and threats to global stability. This is the future which awaits young people, who still want to live in a world where they can freely communicate without borders, enjoy professional growth and be able to work productively. This is exactly the reason why the "Russian-American Summit of Young Leaders: Together We Model the Future" was held to discuss how best the United States and Russia can constructively cooperate with each other.
On August 12, Turkmenistan played host to the 1st Caspian Economic Forum, which was held in the Avaza National Tourist Zone. The events that took place in the run-up to the forum included business meetings of representatives of the Caspian countries, an international Caspian exhibition of innovative technologies and the Exhibition “Turkmen Sahrasy-2019”. Initiated by Turkmenistan’s President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the forum was designed to demonstrate the achievements and potential of various sectors of the economy of the Caspian countries and their partners, to share experience on the use of the latest technologies, and to strengthen cooperation.

American swing, spirituals, along with music by Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff, were all played at the Roman Catholic Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Joanna Medawar Nachef Singers (JMN Singers) from the United States teamed up on stage with members of the Pokrov Chamber Choir to perform that unusual program in a concert organized as part of the Choral Seasons project, designed to promote cooperation between Russia and the US and professional contacts between musicians.
