3200 ships stranded in Persian Gulf – Running out of drinking water and food

9:49 22.03.2026 •

3,200 ships are TRAPPED in the Persian Gulf right now. Crews are running out of drinking water.

One ship called the local port authority and BEGGED for permission to dock — just to get water.

They were DENIED. Let that sink in.

These aren't military ships. These are commercial vessels — carrying oil, grain, electronics — with civilian crews who are now stranded with NO supplies and NO way out.

– 3,200 ships STUCK

– Crews running out of WATER

– Port authorities REFUSING to let them dock

– Multiple ships reporting the SAME situation

For context — the Suez Canal crisis in 2021 blocked 400 ships. This is EIGHT TIMES worse. And nobody is talking about it.

They're showing you missile interceptions and oil price charts.

They're NOT showing you thousands of crew members slowly running out of drinking water in the middle of a war zone.

If these ships start getting abandoned, the environmental disaster alone would be catastrophic. Thousands of tons of fuel, cargo, chemicals — just sitting there.

This is not a shipping disruption. This is a HUMANITARIAN CRISIS unfolding in real time.

The bustle around Hormuz

Several more countries on Friday joined leading European nations, Japan and Canada in signing a joint statement saying they were ready to join appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz and would take steps to stabilise energy markets.

This is the extract of text of the statement from Britain, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Japan, Canada, Republic of Korea, New Zealand, Denmark, Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Norway, Sweden, Finland, Czechia, Romania, Bahrain and Lithuania:

“…Freedom of navigation is a fundamental principle of international law, including under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea.

…We express our readiness to contribute to appropriate efforts to ensure safe passage through the Strait. We welcome the commitment of nations who are engaging in preparatory planning.”

...I wonder how these countries plan to “open” the Strait of Hormuz?

Are they planning to fight Iran, which closed the strait in retaliation for Israeli and US aggression? – No.

Are these countries prepared to pressure Israel and the US to stop their aggression against Iran? – No.

Are these countries prepared to send their naval forces to the Strait of Hormuz? And does Europe even have a powerful navy? – That's a big question.

The fact that hundreds of vessels are blocked in the Gulf is the result of the Israeli and US attacks on Iran. All interested companies should pressure Tel Aviv and Washington to end their aggression.

Although this is unlikely to happen, maritime companies are afraid to raise their voices against the Americans and Israelis.

It seems the Europeans have simply caved in to pressure from Trump, who threatens to collapse NATO and has so far only made a statement that is very difficult to implement:

P.S.

According to the political group of Student News Agency, the spokesperson of Khatam Al-Anbia Central Headquarters announced:

“American-Zionist enemies, due to successive failures and inability to deal with the powerful attack of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, private vessels and passenger transportation in They target the Persian Gulf.

We warn you that if this cowardly aggression is repeated, severe and countermeasures will be taken.”
