Ariana News: Afghanistan attacked Pakistan's nuclear facility

The Afghan armed forces have attacked a nuclear facility in Pakistan and a military base in the Abbottabad area. This was reported on February 27 by the Afghan Ariana News channel.

"Hundreds of dead and injured were taken to PIMS State Hospital in Islamabad after the attacks on the Kakul military base and the Pakistani nuclear facility," the TV channel said in a post on the social network X (ex. Twitter).

At the same time, according to the TV channel, Pakistani forces launched an airstrike in the Barmal district of Afghanistan's Paktika province. Three civilians were reportedly killed in the attack.

On the same day, fighting resumed on the Afghan-Pakistani border, with a strike on a Pakistani military base near the city of Nowshera. The Afghan Ministry of Defense confirmed strikes on Pakistani military facilities, including a military camp near Faizabad in Islamabad, military positions in Jamrud, and other facilities in Abbottabad. In retaliation, Pakistan launched airstrikes in Afghanistan's Paktia province.

Afghanistan struck a nuclear test site and a military academy in Pakistan where officers for the Pakistani Army are trained, Ariana News reports. The Afghan Ministry of Defense confirmed the strikes on Abbottabad, where the academy is located.

The Afghan Air Force struck a nuclear facility in Pakistan and a military base in the Abbottabad area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province, according to the Afghan television channel Ariana News.

The channel reports "hundreds of dead and wounded." The victims were taken to the hospital.

According to the channel, the target was a nuclear test site. The channel also reported a strike on the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA) in Kakul. This is the main training center of the Pakistani Army, responsible for the training and education of officers.
