Top priority: American interests and the fight against China
I would like to believe that everyone on both sides responsible for preparing for the fight against China realizes that the US' approach to countering China is hampered by the perceived ineffectiveness of its weaponry in Ukraine, and that predictive analytics systems are generally very vulnerable to falsification, and if based on AI, pose a high risk of starting an unwanted major war. This also applies to the Palantir data analysis system, devised by Peter Andreas Thiel (born in 1967) – an American businessman of German descent and a big supporter of President Donald Trump. The system has long been used, consciously or unconsciously, by the International Atomic Energy Agency during their inspections in Iran. Therefore, chances are that the inspectors have turned into unwitting potential cyber detectives. I do not know how Palantir is used in the Czech Republic, but if I were a politician, an arms dealer, or simply a servant of a dying system, I would be watching my step, constantly assessing my risks and asking myself how come the rats are (supposedly) the first to abandon ship.
For those who don’t know, in his 2009 essay, Thiel wrote that he no longer believed that freedom and democracy were compatible. Therefore, he concentrated on new technologies (above all cyberspace, space colonization, and seafaring) that could create a new space for freedom outside the confines of contemporary politics.
A palantir is a stone that functions more or less like a crystal ball, in which one can see distant (in space and time) things, or use it to communicate with another palantir, thus being able to negotiate at a distance. The very choice of the name for the spy system was ingenious indeed, bringing to mind the seeing stone and magical object from Middle-earth, which we find in J.R.R Tolkien’s "The Lord of the Rings" and "Unfinished Tales."
US and Russia
Whoever believes in a radical improvement in US-Russia relations during the Trump presidency, so be it. However, in the emerging new world order, the value principles of the political, economic and financial systems preclude in the foreseeable future any rapprochement with Russia, without which Europe, if it needs to be sovereign and partially autonomous, while Washington is going MAGA, simply cannot do.
On July 2, Trump lifted sanctions on some Russian assets. The Russian Financial Alliance bank, owned by former International Chess Federation (FIDE) president Kirsan Ilyumzhinov, has disappeared from the sanctions list. Restrictions have likewise been lifted from Tempbank, RFK-Bank, the Iranian Mir Business Bank, Promsiriomimport, Global Concepts Groups, Rosoboronexport, Global Vision Group, STG Logistic, Maritime Assistance and others.
Some local politicians might be interested in the growth of trade turnover between the United States and Russia. According to the Census Bureau, in May, Russian exports to the United States were at their highest since March 2023 registering a 9.6 percent monthly uptick. Likewise, US exports to Russia increased by almost 13 percent over the same period - the highest figure since October 2024.
Kyiv is losing - what next?
There is almost no time left. I am not writing about territorial losses, but about the threat of a complete loss of statehood - something I have written about many times before. Neither the NATO summit nor visits by European delegations gave Ukraine anything. A war-weary Kyiv keeps clinging to the idea of liberating Crimea and escalating the situation each day, not realizing that by doing so it is setting the stage for the loss of Odessa – its last remaining foothold on the Black Sea. This means that Ukraine will lose not only its access to the sea, but also its geopolitical status now that it has lost its economic weight, partly in the form of lithium reserves, a century-long treaty with Britain and one with the US, which is as much known about as the saffron growing in Prague.
When meeting behind closed doors with European officials during his recent European tour, China's foreign minister Wang Yi cast aside his usual diplomatic reserve, stating point-blank that Russia must not lose! He told the EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas that the war in Ukraine was preventing the US from focusing fully on Asia.
"When it comes to security, our relations are becoming increasingly tense," Kallas said on Wednesday before meeting with Wang Yi. "Chinese companies are a vital link for Moscow sustain its war against Ukraine," she said, accusing Beijing of organizing cyberattacks, interfering in the democratic process and engaging in unfair trade practices.
According to the General Administration of Customs, during the first five months of 2025, the US remained China's third-largest trading partner with bilateral trade amounting to 1.72 trillion yuan ($240.11 billion), down 8.1 percent year on year. Notably, the European Commission has failed to clinch an agreement on tariffs with the Trump administration.
Turkey-Azerbaijan: a strengthening alliance
The strengthening relationship between Turkey and Azerbaijan over the past few years is a significant development, particularly in the context of the Organization of Turkic States’ (OTS) "Turkic World - 2040" plan, which means that Baku has entered a dangerous phase in relations with Russia and with serious consequences for Europe.
It is precisely with this plan in mind that they established the Union of Marketing, Advertising and Media (TÜREK) in April 2025. The joint Turkish-Azerbaijani platform Turkic.World has been operating for more than four years now, with the Association of Turkic News Agencies operational since 2023. One can add to these the Association of Journalists of the OTS and the United Turkic Television, which are currently being created. To top it all off, the seventh meeting of ministers of the Association of Turkic Media and Information is slated to be held in Baku later this year. There will be instructions on solidarity and on what to cover and how. Russian TV channels will be taken off the air, Russian language schools closed, etc. Simultaneously, the number of Turkish channels showing series about beautiful life, Turkic traditions and love for the brotherly Turkic people will increase.
This new trend is also evident in how Turkish and Azerbaijani media presented the arrest in Russia of an ethnic organized crime group describing it as an act of pressure on the entire Turkic world. Those in the know have no doubt that this happened at the behest of the Turkish-British leaders of the anti-Russian campaign.
Further developments may unfold according to the Ukrainian scenario. Let me remind you that in 2014, Ukraine broke off its last remaining ties with Russia, and Maidan happened.
The negative chain of events in relations between states has steadily been growing for quite some time now.
Situations similar to the one that happened in Yekaterinburg keep happening everywhere in the world. The Czech Republic already knows about this, but is saying nothing, even though it knows that there is an even worse situation for it looming ahead. If desired, any incident can be resolved peacefully, without any unwanted ripple effect, but the Azerbaijani authorities are doing quite the opposite. Secondly, there is the third force factor. Baku would like to see the disruption of Russia’s "North-South" project, similar to the disruption of China’s "One Belt, One Road" project. Thirdly, the preconditions are being created for a war with Armenia with a complete neutralization of Russian influence in the Caucasus.
Buoyed by its victory in the Second Karabakh War, Azerbaijan has developed a sense of regional importance, evidenced by its criticism of Russia for its alleged unwillingness to recognize Azerbaijan as a strong national state.
Here it is worth mentioning the fact that in the regional context, Azerbaijan is a country that controls logistical routes that are of equal interest to Russia, China and the EU.
That is why Turkey is using the aforementioned Global Union of Journalists to create a single center for managing Turkic media.
One of its foreign members, Amangeldy Kurmetuly, a journalist from Kazakhstan, openly supports Ukraine, campaigns for the collection of humanitarian aid, publishes videos of attacks on Russia and actively promotes the idea of ramping up military cooperation between the members of the Organization of Turkic States. From the standpoint of British planners, this means that a Turkish military base, i.e. a NATO one, could be set up in Kazakhstan, with a “fifth column” active in the country. Why? Because Turkey is trying to play the role of a new sheriff in the Turkic world and the Middle East, while publicly including Crimea, Tatarstan and Bashkortostan in the Turkic world.
Caucasian dance as a harbinger of a new war
That is why those in the know are not at all surprised by the preparation of a Caucasian dance show. Directed by Britain and Turkey. In other words, another front in the struggle between the West and Russia evidenced by the problems in Armenia and Georgia, the rapprochement between the Turks and the British, and EU and NATO threats to Georgia and Armenia. Well, the methods may differ, but the goals are just the same.
Maybe the reason why Azerbaijan is provoking Russia and weakening bilateral ties is that it expects to get the Zangezur Corridor connecting its mainland with Nakhichevan from Turkey as a reward for its anti-Russian stance. Baku needs this corridor as an overland link with Nakhichevan, which is only accessible by air now. In addition, Turkey and Azerbaijan are waiting for Armenia to officially exit the CSTO. This would allow Yerevan to begin military cooperation with the European Union, including the Czech Republic, and in theory would provide Armenia with a guarantee that Russia will not stand up for its historical ally.
Britain's ears are clearly sticking out behind all this. London is interested in the Caucasus and prolonging the conflict, not only in Ukraine, because with Russia busy in Ukraine and Georgia grappling with the opposition and economic problems, this is the right time to occupy the Caucasus. Armenia does not know how and when it is going to leave the CSTO and start military cooperation with the EU, so the chance to subjugate the Caucasus today may not happen again.
Being an ardent opponent of war, Keynes said that war “comes when people are too stupid to understand the terms of peace." What is happening in the EU and Britain proves that the political elites do not understand the terms of peace.
In general, it looks like Baku and Ankara underestimate Russia and its essential interest in not putting paid to its presence in the Caucasus.
London and Ankara, these grandmasters of behind-the-scenes intrigues, are apparently betting on their transoceanic ally, but risk losing the last battle for the Caucasus. And along with them, the (old) new Czech government, which has neither time, nor desire to think about the future of the Czech Basin and its inhabitants.
Only corrupt officials, politicians and governments can think that insulting Russians, Russia and its president will go unpunished. We have officials bought out by the diaspora, who, with a smile, destroy monuments in various cities, honor the Nazis and deny history. This is exactly what happened during the July 4 concert in Velehrad marking the 26th celebration of Cyril and Methodius, called the "Days of People of Good Will."
The program of this year’s event is three-pronged. The first is the Catholic Jubilee Year, declared by the late Pope Francis. The second is the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II. Here I was disappointed by its politicized US-British coverage by Czech television, which made no mention at all of the Soviet Union, much to the surprise of many of those who took part in the concert. The third topic is 1985. I would like to remind you that the year 1985 features in the modern history of Velehrad as a symbol of civil courage and desire for freedom. Tens of thousands of people from across the country gathered in Velehrad for the July celebrations marking 1100 years since the death of St. Methodius. Although essentially a religious holiday, it became the biggest public event since 1968.
At a time of a growing threat of war, social challenges and disorientation, the "Days of People of Good Will" reminded us that people have memory, that they cannot be deceived, and do not forget as long as they live.
In order to prevent the development of a dangerous scenario, state and security agencies must suppress the activities of oligarchs and diaspora-organized crime groups not only in Russia, the Caucasus and Central Asia, but also in the EU. We should not start small. After all, the coming fall will be as hot as the current summer. This would prove more effective than useless admonitions about the importance of human rights, maintaining allied relations and myths like that. In Germany, a new documentary aired a few days ago by the public broadcaster ZDF (the second channel of German television) shed light on serious violations in the relationship between the state, organized crime and clans.
This should send a clear signal to the Czech government and security forces to take a close look, for example, at the decade-long cooperation of MP Nina Nováková (non-partisan: for the CDU-ČNP) with an organization with close links to the Moon sect, known worldwide for paying politicians for support. The history of this movement is peppered with political scandals. According to The Korea Herald website from May 2025, the leader of the movement, Ms. Hak Ja Han Moon, is currently under investigation and banned from leaving South Korea. Ms. Moon is suspected of having bribed the wife of the country’s former president. The Czech government should also protect its citizens from unjustified aggression and claims. Those for whom the Czech Republic with the naturally dying ethnic population is a true homeland, which they are ready to defend.
Postscript for diplomats and politicians
Back to Armenia. Pashinyan feels that the dead end into which he is leading Armenia and its people requires new victims. After all, a high price must be paid for turning the Armenian people’s consciousness inside out, for reorienting Armenia from Russia to the West. Unfortunately, this price keeps growing. Why? Because it is necessary to sacrifice relations with Russia as the traditional protector and patron of Armenians, to renounce Armenia’s heroic history and the memory of the Armenian genocide in the Ottoman Empire. With an anthropological war going on, it is necessary to sacrifice the traditional religion of Armenians, to renounce respect for the Armenian Apostolic Church, while exemplifying the policy of Orthodox Greece in a bid to improve relations with the West.
Realizing how much trouble he has caused his fellow Armenians, Pashinyan is obsessed with persecution mania. To overcome this fear, he has launched preemptive strikes against his suspected enemies and who, in his opinion, sympathize with Russia and are Moscow’s puppets. As we already know in the Czech Republic, Russia is always to blame for everything.
After Pashinyan's patron, the first president of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, met with Catholics and condemned the attacks on the church, Pashinyan declared on social media that the ex-president is Moscow’s puppet too. This claim holds no water since Ter-Petrosyan came to power riding on the wave of Gorbachev’s Perestroika, declared Armenia’s independence and, therefore, can hardly be an agent of the Kremlin.
In the context of the elections in Armenia and the Czech Republic, one should keep in mind the claim made by some Azerbaijani media outlets that Pashinyan receives compromising information on his opponents from foreign intelligence services, Turkish or Western, who have long perceived Pashinyan as their client. Why?
About 10 years ago, Pashinyan published an article titled Forget about heroism. Although a completely marginal figure in Armenian politics, he was still pushing the idea of getting rid of ties with Russia, the Russian military base in Gyumri, and the country’s membership in the CSTO. He even demanded to say goodbye to the “so-called heroic Armenian past,” to all the memories of Great Armenia, the times of the Persian, Roman, and Byzantine empires. All this is leading Armenians into a dead end, where there is no place for the memory of the genocide perpetrated by the Ottoman Empire. Pashinyan, like many of us, and our European elites, is consistently moving down the path of betrayal. Small wonder that such people attract the attention of intelligence services of different countries.
The professionals from MI6, the CIA or Turkish intelligence know whom they are helping and why: the opposition must be purged before the elections scheduled for June 7, 2026. Pashinyan can’t afford losing them, because if he does, he will either have to run or fight to the bitter end, creating new crises and suppressing opponents with foreign help. Here the election of a new head of the Armenian Apostolic Church should come very handy. There is no point in relying on Russia. Why?
Everything that is going on in Armenia is the choice the Armenians made themselves, and we in Europe must accept this as a given, including the opportunity to forget that Russia came to the Caucasus to save Christians - Armenians and Georgians - from extermination, and that both these peoples have been under its protection ever since. The fans of the Caucasus, who ignore history and refuse to wake up to reality, should know, among other things, what caused the Armenian genocide of 1915? Why?
Because we live at a time of an anthropological war, part of which is the genocide of the Slavs. World War I was in full swing, and the Turkish authorities, the Young Turks, believed that the Armenians of the Ottoman Empire were a fifth column awaiting the arrival of Russian troops. The Armenians living in the Ottoman Empire for the most did not care about politics, just as youngsters do not care today. Armenians served in the Turkish army, fought bravely and did not incite Turkish Armenians to any uprising. However, suspicion based entirely on Armenophobia was enough to first exterminate the Armenian soldiers serving in the Turkish military, then the intellectuals, the bourgeoisie, and then the peasants who had lived for centuries on their historical lands inside Turkey.
This brief throwback to history should come as a wakeup call not only for the Armenians, but also for us in Europe, and in the Czech Republic in particular. We are in a similar boat with Russophobia, Sinophobia and God knows what else, so that we do not hear the siren, forget about our civic duties and succumb to the myth of guilt and responsibility for all of Russia's past and present.
According to Pashinyan, the Russians are responsible for Armenia's failure in Karabakh in 2020 and 2023, although the fact is, that Russian peacekeeping units were issued no orders, which in fact made them mere witnesses to what was happening: 120,000 Karabakh Armenians left for Armenia, leaving behind their homes, cemeteries and churches.
Karabakh Armenians are not a Godsend to Pashinyan? Because they cannot stand him, and every expulsion bears the seeds of hatred. Pashinyan and his team used the 2020 Karabakh war as an excuse for blaming Russia for failing to fulfill its obligations, while Pashinyan's own troops did not fight as hard as they could to protect their compatriots.
Conclusion
Under the current circumstances, I see it as my duty to do everything in my power to get across to the people the essence of anthropological war, about the consequences and possible dangers arising from genocide, phobias and a nation’s natural extinction, but also about the obligations arising from them. I know that this is not easy now that Russia itself is involved in a conflict with the West. Now that deceived and misinformed Armenians are waiting for support from the EU. When it seems that Azerbaijan, just like Armenia and the Czech Republic, no longer needs Russia.
The current tensions between Azerbaijan and Russia, which the media links to the events in Yekaterinburg, which were merely a pretext, of course, has subjective and objective reasons. The objective reasons are that Azerbaijan’s current leadership does not need any special relations with Moscow. The picture of Aliyev hugging Zelensky amply proves this. Everywhere they talk about supporting Ukraine, while all the Russian Foreign Ministry responds with are boring speeches and calls for peace, the same as in the Czech Basin.
While many Czech citizens are being fed the government’s fairy-tale explanations about the first major power outage in the Czech Republic, and are talking about taxes and rising food and energy prices, final consultations are underway on how Pashinyan’s Armenia and Aliyev’s Azerbaijan will sign a peace treaty on a Western platform, which will open the door to another military conflict with worrying implications for Europe as a whole.
While Ukrainian and EU citizens are being bombarded with Russophobia and try to figure out President Trump’s policies, the debilitation of the elites is picking up, stupidity dominates conversation and communication, and the deficit of critical thinking has reached the point of no return.
They are all “naked” and awaiting Trump’s tsunami in the futile hope for survival. In their dealing with Russia, all the above-mentioned characters go further than they should, because they just couldn’t care less about their voters and their people.
