Addressing the young delegates, the head of Rossotrudnichestvo thanked the Syrian doctors for the visit to Russia. "It was very important for us that your visit would be useful, because you are the specialists of the most important profession on Earth. We wanted to give you an idea of how Russia fights with pandemic and how the health care system in our country is organized. It is important for us that you, having gained new knowledge, transfer it to your country, making it better, richer and more independent. This is the kind of Syria we love.

The Syrian ambassador said it was an honor for him to speak at the Forum in the presence of so many medical professionals. He expressed hope that the Russian side would once again invite the Syrians to such events. "Of course, we strive to constantly develop cultural exchange between Russia and Syria, - said the diplomat. - We know very well how much healthcare means. In Syria, terrorists even destroyed hospitals and ambulances and killed doctors. After the war and the destruction of infrastructure, our country faced a coronavirus pandemic. And very few gave us a helping hand. We are grateful to Russia for its assistance.

Guests from Syria, in turn, asked the head of Rossotrudnichestvo about various ways of interaction with Russia. They were especially interested in the issue of obtaining higher medical education in our country. In addition, the topic of post-program interaction was touched upon. "For example, we would like to invite to the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in Damascus medical specialists, specialists in the fight against epidemics, specialists in the field of health care, significant experts.
