On X (formerly Twitter), thousands of Internet users called on the French to relieve themselves in the Seine during the launch of the 2024 Olympic Games.

“JeChieDansLaSeineLe23Juin” (“I ShitInTheSeineJune23”). This is the flowery hashtag that appeared on X (formerly Twitter). But why are Internet users calling for people to defecate in the river?

This Thursday, May 23, the Mayor of Paris assured that she would swim in the Seine before the start of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
