We have partaken of Lord’s Chalice, we have been at Lord’s Supper: glory to Thee. О God! glory to Thee. О God! glory to Thee, О God!

Today is a great day of the Lord, and a glorious celebration in heaven! In every city, in every town, in every home there are people who have taken Holy Communion. All over Russia, from one end to the other, how many faithful adorned with white garments of absolution have tasted of the Divine life, have entered into a profound union with the Lord! The Body of the Lord — that is, the Church — has been renewed; it has been clothed in its proper glory, invisible to the eyes of men. but open to the eyes of angels. The angels worshipped the Son of God when He came into the world in His power; and now, as the entire world comes to Him, they worship Him again, singing: “Thy throne, О God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of Thy kingdom is a right sceptre. Thou lovest righteousness, and hatest wickedness" [Ps. 45:6-7]
