Iran’s intelligence forces have exfiltrated an enormous amount of documents and sensitive data on the Israeli regime’s nuclear facilities out of the occupied territories, the IRIB News Agency said, citing informed sources.
The IRIB News Agency quoted informed sources as saying on Saturday that the Iranian intelligence forces have obtained a considerable amount of data as well as strategic and sensitive documents of the Israeli regime, including thousands of documents on its nuclear plans and facilities.
The documents have reportedly been taken out of the occupied territories.
The sources said the operation to gain access to the documents was carried out recently, but it was kept in the dark due to the huge amount of the documents and the necessity for the safe transfer of the trove to protected sites.
The IRIB News Agency also quoted the sources as saying that the number of the documents transferred to Iran is so huge that examining all of them, including the images and videos, requires a considerable amount of time.
Iranian Intelligence Minister Esmaeil Khatib confirmed on Sunday that his forces have acquired strategic documents and data about the Israeli regime’s nuclear activities, saying the documents will be made public soon, ‘Tasnim’ news agency reports.
In an interview aired on IRIB, Khatib said a “massive, multi-layered and complicated operation” designed by the Intelligence Ministry of Iran resulted in the acquisition of strategic documents and information about the Israeli regime.
The operation involved the start of infiltration, attraction of sources, access to the sources, and enhancement of access that resulted in obtaining the treasure trove, he stated.
Asked if the documents include any non-nuclear data, the intelligence minister said, “They also include other documents about relationship with the US, Europe and other countries, as well as intelligence documents that would boost the country’s (Iran’s) offense power.”
The cleric explained that the manner the documents have been transferred to Iran is as important as the documents themselves.
“We will keep the methods of transfer and these documents secret. While the announcement (of the operation) took some time in order for the documents to arrive in the country in full safety, the methods of transfer will be naturally kept secret and won’t be made public any soon. However, the documents will be released soon,” the intelligence minister stated.
