On March 24, 1999, the bombing of Yugoslavia began. For 78 days, NATO aircraft bombed Belgrade and other parts of the country. They bombed residential areas of cities, railways, factories, airfields, and other infrastructure facilities. As a result of NATO airstrikes, 758 people were killed, of which 267 were in central Serbia, 10 in Montenegro, and the rest in Kosovo and Metohija. The then Senator Joe Biden persistently called for bombing Belgrade. Is it another Joe Biden calling for peace nowadays?
