Following the reception, Vladimir Putin greeted the relatives of the Soviet Army veterans of the hostilities against the invaders who attended the parade and the reception, including the descendants of Marshal Georgy Zhukov, Marshal Konstantin Rokossovsky, Marshal Alexander Vasilevsky, and Marshal Vasily Chuikov.
