Aviation, artillery, and drone units of the Russian Armed Forces struck the main special radio communication center of Ukrainian military intelligence and critical airfield infrastructure targets, according to the Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD), Sputnik informs.
"Operational-tactical aviation, unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces, and artillery of Russian Armed Forces groups struck the main special radio communication center of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as critical airfield infrastructure targets in Ukraine," the Russian military report stated.
A Starlink satellite communication station used by the armed forces of Ukraine militants in the Chernigov Region has been destroyed, the Russian National Guard said on Wednesday.
"The Russian Guards destroyed the Starlink satellite communication station used by the armed forces of Ukraine militants in the Chernigov region," the statement read.
UAV operators carried out a targeted strike using a drone with incendiary ammunition, the National Guard said, adding that as a result of a direct hit, the stronghold of the Ukrainian nationalists caught fire, and then further complete burning out of the enemy's territory and the Starlink satellite communication station.
Additionally, concentrations of enemy personnel and military equipment were struck in 142 areas. Russian air defenses down 41 Ukrainian drones, the Russian MoD further clarified.
Since the beginning of hostilities in Kursk direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have lost more than 14,950 troops, 122 tanks, 52 infantry fighting vehicles, 93 armoured personnel carriers, 768 armoured fighting vehicles, 464 motor vehicles, 109 artillery guns, 28 MLRS launchers, including seven of HIMARS and six of MLRS made by the USA, eight SAM launchers, four transport-loading vehicles, 28 electronic warfare stations, seven counter-battery radars, two air defence radars, 14 engineering vehicles, including eight counterobstacle vehicles and one UR-77 mine clearing vehicle.
The operation to neutralise the AFU units is in progress.
