Christ is risen! Truly He is risen! By His rising from the dead, the Lord has brought us from death to life. Angels in the heavens are singing His Resurrection as they see in the Person of the risen Lord what glory and radiance has been ordained for the sanctified human beings. All those who truly believe in Him, who sincerely follow Him, will be changed into His image by the power of His Resurrection.

Glory to Thy divine Resurrection, О Lord! Angels are singing together with us, rejoicing and foreseeing that humans will join the angelic choir. Vouchsafe us, О Lord, to glorify Thee with the pure heart, as we see in Thy Resurrection the end of the consuming decay, the sowing of the new radiant life and the dawn of the future eternal glory, the glory which Thou hast entered for our sake, to make us follow Thee. Neither human, nor angelic voices are capable of expressing Thine unspeakable mercy to us, О the ineffably risen Lord!
