On June 4, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Nenad Popovic, Minister Without Portfolio in the Government of the Republic of Serbia and Co-Chair of the Russian-Serbian Intergovernmental Committee on Trade, Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation, on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum.

They discussed the strengthening of Russian-Serbian ties, highlighting practical interaction, the implementation of existing agreements, and the settlement in Kosovo based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244.
