An Embraer-135 private jet crashed in the Tver Region north of Moscow on Wednesday. All 10 people onboard were killed, according to preliminary data. Businessman Yevgeny Prigozhin was listed as a passenger, the Russian aviation agency said, TASS informs.

What happened:
- An Embraer-135 jet crashed near the Kuzhenkino settlement in the Tver Region north of Moscow, near the M-10 highway.
- The jet was carrying three crew (two pilots and a flight attendant) and seven passengers. They were all killed.
The plane’s destination:
- The aircraft was heading from Moscow’s Sheremetyevo Airport to St. Petersburg. It had received a permit for the use of air space.
- The plane was owned by the MNT-Aero company, which specializes in providing private jet services.
- The list of passengers includes such members of the private military company Wagner as Yevgeny Prigozhin, Dmitry Utkin and Valery Chekalov, the Russian aviation agency said.
Official reaction:
- A team of Russian Investigative Committee investigators has been dispatched to the crash site. First responders are working at the scene.
- The Main Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation started a criminal investigation of an offense under Russian Criminal Code Article 263, looking into potential violations of air transportation safety and operation rules.
