On December 15, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with the leadership and members of the US Chamber of Commerce in Russia. At the event, the Minister presented his assessment of the latest international developments and the prospects for Russian-American relations, taking into account the Trump administration’s commitment to promoting a sustainable settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.

A useful discussion took place on a number of topical issues, with an emphasis on the constructive role that business circles can play in stimulating the restoration of trade and investment ties between Russia and the United States.
