On April 24, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov had a telephone conversation with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Mohammad Ishaq Dar.

During the conversation, the two sides discussed current aspects of Russian-Pakistani cooperation and exchanged views on the situation in the Persian Gulf.

Sergey Lavrov praised Islamabad’s mediation role in reaching sustainable agreements between Iran and the United States, and confirmed Russia’s readiness to support these efforts.
