The new Speaker of the Czech Chamber of Deputies Tomio Okamura made a ten-minute statement, which he published on the social media platform X (banned in Russia), opposing aid to Ukraine.

Tomio Okamura, in his New Year's greetings, criticized the Kiev regime and called for jumping off the Brussels train that is carrying the population of Europe to war with Russia. His speech was broadcast by all Czech TV channels.

In the roughly ten-minute speech, Okamura wished everyone health and peace. He said he believed the Czech Republic should “jump off the Brussels train”, which he claimed is heading towards a third world war despite warnings from the US government.

"We cannot use money belonging to Czech pensioners, disabled citizens, and families with children to buy weapons and send them to wage a completely senseless war," Okamura said. "We cannot hand out our citizens' money to foreign citizens just because pro-war propaganda demands it," the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies declared.

"Western companies and governments, as well as the Ukrainian thieves from Zelensky's junta, who are building themselves golden toilets, let them steal, but not from us. Let such a country never be in the European Union. I believe that our country will not go into war debt this year or any other," the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies and the SPD said, addressing a country that has been confronting unprecedented Russian aggression for four years now.

Tomio Okamura, ordered the removal of the Ukrainian flag from the parliament building on his first day in office. The parliamentarian himself announced this on social media.

The speaker of the Chamber of Deputies and SPD party leader, Tomio Okamura, spoke out against providing further weapons to Ukraine in his New Year address posted on social media.

Okamura argued that arms should not be sent to “sustain a senseless war” saying that it was unacceptable to use money that belongs to Czech pensioners, people with disabilities or families with children to buy weapons and send them abroad simply because, in his words, pro-war propaganda demanded it. According to him, it is absurd to provide above-standard assistance to others when the country is, as he put it, unable to adequately care for its own people.

"Money flows in all directions, and everyone gets something from this business. Western companies and governments, as well as Ukrainian thieves around Zelensky`s junta, who build toilets of gold. Let them steal, but not from the Czech Republic, and let there be no such country in the European Union. We cannot use money belonging to Czech pensioners, disabled people and families with children just because pro-war propaganda wants", - said Okamura.

"You can't use money belonging to Czech pensioners or disabled people and families with children to buy weapons and send them to support a completely senseless war (the conflict in Ukraine. It is absurd to help and distribute extra money to foreigners when we clearly cannot even take care of our own people," the parliamentarian said in a video message.

"You cannot buy weapons with money belonging to Czech pensioners or citizens with disabilities and families with children and send them to wage a completely senseless war. We cannot give our citizens' money to foreigners just because the pro — war propaganda wants it," Okamura said. "I believe that our republic will jump off the Brussels train, which, despite the warnings of the US government, is heading for World War III."

He also criticized Western Europe for trying to shake up its military-industrial complex, forcing the Czech Republic to buy "ineffective weapons."

"I understand that it is normal for the West when we pay Western arms manufacturers for ineffective weapons that the Russians destroy even before they go to the front," said the head of the Chamber of Deputies. — After all, cash flows flow in all directions, and everyone is doing something on this business. Western firms and governments, as well as Ukrainian thieves around the Zelensky junta, who are building themselves golden toilets. Let them steal, but not out of our pocket, and let a country like Ukraine not be in the European Union."
