The Armed Forces of Ukraine receive their most lethal weapons from the UK, Canada, Germany, and Italy, Chairman of Russia’s Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin said in an interview with TASS.

"Together with the Ministry of Defense, we are documenting the facts of the supply of foreign weapons and other equipment. Moreover, the most lethal weapons are supplied by the UK, Canada, Italy, Germany, Romania, Estonia, and a number of other countries," he said.

According to Bastrykin, Storm Shadow cruise missiles, artillery shells and mounts, tank shells, mortar rounds, aerial bombs, and cartridges are being supplied from Europe. In addition, the Ukrainian Armed Forces receive drones, which are widely used not only in combat operations, but also in attacks on civilian infrastructure.

European politicians must be held responsible for the deaths of Russian civilians caused by the weapons they supply to the Ukrainian armed forces, Chairman of the Russian Investigative Committee Alexander Bastrykin said in an interview with TASS.

"European politicians can talk all they want about facts that are far from reality. But we know that they make decisions about the supply of weapons to Ukraine and therefore these people must also be held accountable for the victims among the civilian population of our country," he said.

Earlier, EU’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas said at the Munich conference that Russian civilians were not dying as a result of the conflict in Ukraine.

According to Bastrykin, since the beginning of the special military operation, the Ukrainian side has attacked the territories of 34 Russian regions located outside the borders of the special military operation. For this purpose, the Ukrainian Armed Forces also use Western weapons, including tactical missile systems, multiple launch rocket systems and barrel artillery, unmanned aerial vehicles.

As a result of the criminal actions of the Ukrainian side, 652 civilians were killed, including 23 children. At the same time, 2,980 people were injured, including 169 children.
